Rock and Republic

Hi guys, sorry, it s been a long time since the last time I blogged here. I would feel a lot more guilty if I don't share this with you guys so click more for details ...

There was a Denim Warehouse Sales in Hollywood at the Sony Studios a couple of weeks back. They only had one brand though which is Rock and Republic. My friend is a faithful fan of RnR but I m new to the brand so this is more like an exploration to me. The jeans are 80 for reg. and 100 for embellished ones, which are more than 50% off the regular tag. The jackets in other words could be any where from 60 bucks to all the way to 200 dollars.

I found out, after trying on tons of jeans, RnR is not the brand for me because my butt looks horribly flat in them. I love my butt to be full and round as y'all know - wink -

Okay, enough said and here are my get's

Rock and Republic Valory Jacket, sale price for 80 dollars whereas the original tag was a whooping $475.

Didnt expect to find it and it seemed that it s the only - last one there. Picked it up and left with it was my wise desicion ... Love it every day ! This is how it look on me ... sorry, just throw them on for the pics so I didnt have the proper accesories :)

Hale Bob Verona Sandals

I am not a big fan of online shoe shopping because I m the type who tries then buys and I know for a fact that, shoes (just like clothes) do look better in online pictures than in real life.

I am a huge fan of the store chain Loehmann's since they ALWAYS have really good stuffs at amazingly low price. For instance, the sunglasses that you may find in store can be anything from Fendi, Dolce and Gabbana, Gucci, Giorgio Armani to Ralph Lauren, or Ray-Ban with less than half the regular price tag and more important, they are "made in Italy" instead of "you-know-what"... I am like a little girl in a candy store everytime I shop at Loehmann's. The stuffs are unique and high quality, the price is dirt cheap, the style is so updated ... what NOT to LOVE ?!

Because of the above, I was skeptical about the Online Loehmann's store a.k.a Smartbargain since as I surfed, I recognized some shoes that I found in store were not as good looking as online. Yet, my heart melt the moment I saw this ...

Hale Bob Verona Patent Sandal with Applique: online bargain shopping from SmartBargains.com

The details were so delicate yet I still feel the sexiness and playfulness in the shoes. And the best part, while these are still $115 at the designer's website a.k.a Hale Bob's Online, they cost a little shy fifty bucks on Smartbargains. I gulped, knowing I am taking a chance with these babies, but how could I let such an opportunity passing by ?

And today .... Babies come home .... to ME :)

They are exactly what I have pictured and hoped ... better, they are a perfect fit for my "little" feet.

:) I am walking on cloud right now :)

P.S: Will post the pic for the entire outfit ... - winkie -

Laundry by Shelli Segal Platinum

I got compliments on this pair every time I went out. Sometimes people stopped as they were walking towards me and said, "Lovely sparkling shoes you have there". Other times, there were little girls in strollers all ooh-and-aah. I remember one specific time a while ago, one acquaintance of mine spotted the shoes and she made a remark about how it reminded her of the Ruby Slippers that Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz has.

She said, it's like shoes for princess ... and I couldnt agree more.

Click below to see what I am talking about ...

I love this specific color which is called Wine Color, and the lace ... casual yet very elegant and dressy in a sense.

Love the dark gray insole ... very comfortable btw.

Sturdy heels and super durable "padding" - wonder if I used the right vocab :)

It all comes down to the littlest details ...

Don't you fall in love with this style already ? And the best thing is while somewhere on the net, it still costs about 70 to 80 dollars including shipping, I got mine for 10 dollars without shipping. SCORE !

.... and here is my pair ... after a couple of times I brought it to a shoe repairer for some touch-ups. So in love with it, I can't possibly let it go :)
