Little Black Dress Follow-Up

I finally got a chance to wear that little black dress I showed you guys the other day. The wedding was a blast because I was surrounded by hilarious people who had extremely good sense of humor and I couldnt stop laughing .... or it was because we drank up two bottles of Martell !!! That's too huh ?!

Here some pics for your enjoyment ... I didnt have any jewelry on since the shoes and the dress had enough sparkles for the outfit ... a little note, I didnt wear the strappy shoes as planned, bummer I forgot to take picture for the whole outfit ... I wore this instead ...

.... and here are the pics ....

Little Black Dress (part 1)

I have been looking for my one and only perfect little black dress ... the one that I would be able to put on after hours of browsing my expanding closet and realizing that I need to do more shopping ... ha ha, who wouldnt ?! Then, last weekend, I stumbled into this lil beauty at my fav store ... Loehmann's.

It's a David Meister dress. I didnt really know who he is until I did my lil search and found these ...

.... and me ... in David Meister !

.... and in a playful teen-y way ...

Please excuse my hair since I was too excited about the dress ... I forgot about everything else ... :">

I love the neckline ... the jeweled waistline that gives the dress the luxurious touch ... the drape at the front and back that makes me feel Greek-y and and lil princess-y ... and of course I have to pair this dress with my beloved strappy shoes ...

StEaL (part three )

During one of many random out-of-the-blue visits of mine to Loehmann's, I found myself .... more shoes even though at the moment, I really have no space whatsoever for my shoes ... Suddenly, I remember what Carrie said, instead of a ring, give me a closet for my shoes and I will say "Yes!" ... I thought, I will too !!!, given the condition I am currently in ... hix !

Okay, it s time to show off the result eh ? Since all of the things I got were on clearance at Loehmann's, I got the extra 50% off the red tag price.

1/ Guess by Marciano Carrie Gold Leather Pumps: somewhere in the States, $44.95 to $89.95, mine for 17 bucks ....

Guess Carrie Gold Leather Very Sexy High Heel Pumps Women's Shoes

Have been looking for a pair like this for a long time .... and finally, God has answered my wish, he he ...

2/ Steve Madden Maddiee in Metal ... for only 22 dollars ... Will take and update pics later ... have a look at the other colors for now :)

Snakeskin

Black Patent

I bet if you guys watched Sex and The City the movie closely enough, you would recognize that the shoes above are the exact imitation of the Dior Extreme Cutout Shoes that Carrie wore in the movie ... and yes, I finally decided to get my hands on them !

With the shoes, I also got two Hale Bob tops. Sexy cut and vibrant color ... very Hale Bob ...

One of them is the V Neck Tunic in deep purple.

StEaL (part deux)

I have been loving - ha ha - the colorful version of Betsy Johnson for a long time, from her shoes to her clothes and of course bags. Yet, I m dreadful with the thought of even trying on her stuffs because they are too feminine for me to be myself in them ...

Until I saw this ....

Somewhere else on the States, this is still sold with a $365 price tag, mine from my local Loehmann's store for a little shy from 100 bucks .... S.C.O.R.E :)

The leather is so soft and shiny. The "Betsy Johnson" logo is artsy and cute. The zipper details rocks the look and of course the fringe, what more could I say, "I love fringe" !

So many things to love in a pretty little thing :)

Top: Forever 21, belt: Oscar De La Renta, jeans: Rock and Republic

I fell in love with the jeans the very first time I saw it. It may be the studs, or the style, or the brand's famous edginess or all of them. Gotta have it!

Oh, by the way people, I got new hair over the break. I have a love-hate relationship with my hair.

Love: it softens my facial features and adds femininity to, of course, "me".

Hate: I have to add "applying pomade" to my morning routine before getting out of the house, which adds at least 5 more minutes to my very quick morning ritual. And sometimes even the pomade couldnt work its magic, I have to go out with bobby pin on my head !!!! Grrrrrrrrrrr !

Oh, I forgot the shoes, didnt I ? Hmmm, since the jeans are slimming and quite tight at the bottom, I wore Sam Edelman Whiteley Brown Snakeskin with it ...

Sam Edelman Women's Whitely Boot

Someone told me, Forever 21 stuffs look cheap and not good in quality. I think, "YOU wear the clothes, so ... what do you think ? "

Rock and Republic

Hi guys, sorry, it s been a long time since the last time I blogged here. I would feel a lot more guilty if I don't share this with you guys so click more for details ...

There was a Denim Warehouse Sales in Hollywood at the Sony Studios a couple of weeks back. They only had one brand though which is Rock and Republic. My friend is a faithful fan of RnR but I m new to the brand so this is more like an exploration to me. The jeans are 80 for reg. and 100 for embellished ones, which are more than 50% off the regular tag. The jackets in other words could be any where from 60 bucks to all the way to 200 dollars.

I found out, after trying on tons of jeans, RnR is not the brand for me because my butt looks horribly flat in them. I love my butt to be full and round as y'all know - wink -

Okay, enough said and here are my get's

Rock and Republic Valory Jacket, sale price for 80 dollars whereas the original tag was a whooping $475.

I always have a thing for military stuffs ... ooooooooooooooh, sooooooooooo sexy ! Just randomly pick this one out of a rack full of t-shirts. Didnt expect to find it and it seemed that it s the only - last one there. Picked it up and left with it was my wise desicion ... Love it every day ! This is how it look on me ... sorry, just throw them on for the pics so I didnt have the proper accesories :)

The second one I got was this one ... very biker chick kinda thing which is something edgy that I would definitely wear ... :) The price tag was 60 bucks. Love the details, dont you ?

As you could see, there are 4 rows of zippers on the shoulder.

That's it for today people. Im out for the kids :).

Heels, Bebe. Jeans, Chip and Pepper. Cami, A&F.

Bonus: Me in my work clothes, conservative enough, you think ?

Ehe`m ... I know ... shoes again :)

Well, it all started as a short walk before work in Marshall - a perfect place for a shopportunistist like myself.... Winter is fast coming and I think I need a pair of knee length kinda boots. Before I could even think of anything, I spotted the beautiful suede fabric on the top of the shoe shelf. I have a thing for suede. Okay, I LOVE suede, the feel, the color, the smell, everything .... and boy, once I pulled that fabric down, I was hooked.
It s perfect for winter. It s heely but not too high and very sturdy though. It s Isaac Mirazhi. A little steep for a pair of boots, I know, but given the fact that it was so well-made and it came from Italy, my heart already melt for this beauty !

Here it is .... Isaac Mizrahi Women's Rooney Boot

Isaac Mizrahi Women's Rooney Boot

Mine is in a lighter tan than this. It went perfectly with my Coach Bleeker bag that I got from the same Marshall for ....- drums roll - 80 bucks ..... Yup, the original tag for this beauty is 300 dollars when it first came out.

Needless to say, I love the leather smell of both items ... sorry animals but I am truly a leather lover ...

Hale Bob Verona Sandals

I am not a big fan of online shoe shopping because I m the type who tries then buys and I know for a fact that, shoes (just like clothes) do look better in online pictures than in real life.

I am a huge fan of the store chain Loehmann's since they ALWAYS have really good stuffs at amazingly low price. For instance, the sunglasses that you may find in store can be anything from Fendi, Dolce and Gabbana, Gucci, Giorgio Armani to Ralph Lauren, or Ray-Ban with less than half the regular price tag and more important, they are "made in Italy" instead of "you-know-what"... I am like a little girl in a candy store everytime I shop at Loehmann's. The stuffs are unique and high quality, the price is dirt cheap, the style is so updated ... what NOT to LOVE ?!

Because of the above, I was skeptical about the Online Loehmann's store a.k.a Smartbargain since as I surfed, I recognized some shoes that I found in store were not as good looking as online. Yet, my heart melt the moment I saw this ...

Hale Bob Verona Patent Sandal with Applique: online bargain shopping from SmartBargains.com

The details were so delicate yet I still feel the sexiness and playfulness in the shoes. And the best part, while these are still $115 at the designer's website a.k.a Hale Bob's Online, they cost a little shy fifty bucks on Smartbargains. I gulped, knowing I am taking a chance with these babies, but how could I let such an opportunity passing by ?

And today .... Babies come home .... to ME :)

Photobucket

Photobucket

They are exactly what I have pictured and hoped ... better, they are a perfect fit for my "little" feet.

:) I am walking on cloud right now :)

P.S: Will post the pic for the entire outfit ... - winkie -
